I offer a seasonally rotating series of classes in food and beverage fermentation, and in botanicals- learning about plants and herbs through weed walks, foraging, and making herbal lotions, potions, balms, salves, serums, medicines and other natural remedies from plants. Classes are held at my studio in Fleetwood, PA. Pre-scheduled classes are listed below and are open for registration.
I also offer private, custom individual and group classes which can be held at your place or mine. You can select the products that you want to make by browsing the Private and Group Classes menu below. Many classes can be adapted for children with adult helpers. Contact me for more information about private classes.
If you have questions about ingredients or allergies, please contact me. It is often possible to customize product ingredients. All classes include handouts and recipes so you can continue making products after the class at home.
Health and safety protocols are updated regularly. Class size is limited. Each student has their own station. Shared equipment and supplies are minimized. The studio is a large, open space with 18 foot ceilings, an excellent HVAC system with HEPA filtration. It is clean, bright and comfortable.
